About me

Design has always been important to me

Even while growing up, design and art have always piqued my interest. This interest followed me through high school and beyond, so I took the leap into the industry to master the technical skills, develop my style, and discover what types of design mediums I am most passionate about. This past May, I graduated summa cum laude from the Kutztown University of Pennsylvania Communication Design program.

Experience and skills

I bring over three years of previous design experience to the table; I worked as the Lead UI Designer at Unify Interactive, LLC, a digital design studio based in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania. During my time there, I worked with a dedicated team creating a variety of clients ranging from local organizations to international entities.

UX design is my core area of focus: From conducting usability research to creating prototypes, I enjoy diving into the intricacies of design functionality. I recognize the importance of creating positive user experiences as people are looking to achieve specific goals when engaging with a piece of design. I acknowledge the fact that user experience is always paramount over making something look aesthetically pleasing.

To supplement my UX design skills, I also possess UI, advertising, motion, and print design knowledge. Some of my favorite projects are 360-degree advertising campaigns as I get to utilize all of these skills to produce campaigns which excite people to rally behind a brand.

Other fun facts

When I am not designing, I love taking photography and videography, usually of subjects found in nature. I am not exclusive to these areas, though. I will soon be offering licensing for some of my work. Check back here for updates.

Creating abstract artwork in After Effects is also a fun hobby of mine. My work ranges from glitch art to otherworldly photography edits. Some of my After Effects experimentation has had an influence on my other design work.
